Half-day Event Dedicated to the Ecosystemic Fisheries Management and Aquaculture Management Specialisations

This morning, 30 November 2025, the National Higher School of Marine Science and Coastal Development organised a scientific half-day for the students in the Ecosystem-based Fisheries Management and Aquaculture Management programmes.

The event featured a series of lectures on innovation in fisheries sciences and aquaculture, aimed at inspiring students as they prepare their final-year projects and at encouraging initiative and entrepreneurship within the sector.

Several cooperation agreements were also signed during the event, involving the National Higher Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture, the Fisheries and Aquaculture Chamber of Sidi Bel Abbès, and the Technical Training School for Fisheries and Aquaculture in El Marsa.

We were also honoured to welcome a group of the school’s alumni, who shared their experiences and career paths, enriching the discussions and highlighting employment opportunities in the field.
