ENSSMAL, Proud of Its Talents

The National Higher School of Marine Science and Coastal Development (ENSSMAL) had the great pleasure of hosting, on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in its conference hall, the official launch of the Technical Training Institute (IFT), an ambitious project aimed at developing technical skills in Algeria.

What makes this event particularly significant for the School is that the project is led by Mr. Alaaeddine Bougherara, a former ENSSMAL student, perfectly illustrating the ability of our graduates to innovate and undertake entrepreneurial initiatives. His journey was supported within our ecosystem, notably through the Bluestart Incubator and the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (CDE).

This support helped transform an idea into a concrete project, now embodied in the creation of the IFT, an institute dedicated to specialised technical training, particularly in the field of geotechnics.

Through this achievement, ENSSMAL reaffirms its commitment to fostering the entrepreneurial spirit among its students and graduates, while actively contributing to Algeria’s socio-economic development.
