Thematic Field Trip in Coastal Engineering, and Coastal Development and Management

As part of the thematic field trips for second-year preparatory class students at the National Higher School of Marine Science and Coastal Development (ENSSMAL), a field visit on coastal engineering and coastal management was organised on Thursday, April 23, 2026, supervised by Mr Abdelalim Dahmani and Mr Housseyn Otmani, specialist lecturers.

The field trip took place at the El Djamila Port and the Mediterranean Beach in Ain Benian, west of Algiers.

This activity enabled students to explore the practical applications of the concepts that will be taught in the Coastal Engineering and Coastal Development specialisation, thereby strengthening the link between theory and practice.
