Competitive Examination for Admission to the Second Cycle of Higher Schools – ENSSMAL 2026-2027
The National Higher School of Marine Science and Coastal Development (ENSSMAL) is organizing, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, a competitive written examination for admission to the Second Cycle for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Admission Requirements
The competitive examination for admission to the Second Cycle of ENSSMAL is open to:
- ENSSMAL students who were not selected through the merit-based admission process (20% of students).
- Candidates who have successfully completed the two-year preparatory program in a higher school belonging to the field of Natural and Life Sciences (SNV) during the current academic year and who have not been subject to any second-degree disciplinary sanction during their preparatory studies.
- Candidates who successfully completed the two-year preparatory program and were reoriented to a university or university center during the 2025-2026 academic year.
- Bachelor’s degree students enrolled in a university or university center within the field of Natural and Life Sciences (SNV) who have successfully completed at least two years of study by the date of the examination, without repeating any academic year, and who have not been subject to any second-degree disciplinary sanction.
Registration Procedure
Candidates must:

2. Send the following documents to: secretariat-dedfc@enssmal.edu.dz
- A handwritten application letter.
- A copy of the Baccalaureate certificate.
- Academic transcripts for the four (04) semesters completed.
- Certificate of good conduct.
Note
The deadline for submitting the application file is June 25, 2026.
Students enrolled in a university or university center who are unable to provide their Semester 4 transcript at the time of registration may still participate in the examination, provided that the transcript is submitted no later than two (02) days before the examination date.
Candidates accepted to sit for the examination will receive an email invitation specifying the date, time, and venue of the examination.
